Training camp in Bulgaria /10 - 14 June, 2013/


Training camp, organized for students from Primary School "Ahmet Yener" – Kurklareli city, Republic of Turkey.

The group of Turkish students arrived in Bulgaria on June 10, 2013. The students were accommodated at "Midia Grand Resort" complex in the town of Aheloy, Burgas, on the Black Sea coast. Students were accommodated in apartments with 1 and 2 bedrooms, based on All Inclusive.

Location of “Midia Grand Resort” complex is unsurpassed since the complex is only a few meters from the sea and just minutes walk from downtown Aheloy, its restaurants and cafes. The complex consists of several buildings. On the ground level there are restaurants, coffee bar, fitness, beauty salon, conference room, sports hall, dance hall and shops. There are numerous green spaces that separate the buildings from the alleys and verandas. Water features in Midia Grand Resort include 2 swimming pools, one of which is with shallow area for children, a pool bar for parents and a wonderful view to the Black Sea. Both pools consist of over 2,400 square meters each of them./p>

Sports activities are combined with a varied program of tours, sightseeing and entertainment:

June 11

Students were transported in 2 buses to the attraction restaurant "Golden Barrel" in the village of Bata, revealing the typical atmosphere of the Bulgarian architecture from the 19th century (the Renaissance – Bulgarian National Revival Period), ethnographic collection, crafts, spinning, weaving , pottery, numerous attractions for children – pony riding and donkey cart, children show program with professional artists.

Dinner at a restaurant in traditional style, including the most typical dishes from the Bulgarian cuisine.

Rich folklore program, presenting the most popular and liked singing, dancing, performing many national customs and traditions.

At the end of the evening - fire-dancing - dancing on hot embers - an ancient ritual still preserved in southeastern Bulgaria, a unique phenomenon.

June 12

Visit of The old town of Nessebar - open-air museum, included in the UNESCO list, thanks to its well-preserved architecture of the 19th and the ruins of medieval churches and fortress walls.

June 13

Panoramic tour in the centre of Burgas and The Seaside Garden, a visit of the shopping centre “Mall Galeria” in Burgas.

June 14

Visit of the Primary School "Vasil Aprilov" and a meeting with Bulgarian students.
